Humility - We embrace a lifestyle of repentance, agree with adversaries quickly, and confront pride and arrogance with a humble spirit.
Accountability
We are accountable to our constituency and work at total transparency in all we do. We choose to endure the test of being faithful in the little things rather than demanding that we be entrusted with greater things. We are willing to earn trust rather than demand it.
Diversity
We celebrate diversity, respect our fellow Christians who may hold different beliefs, agendas and priorities and mourn the tragedy of any missing part and continually seek more inclusive leadership for MFT.
MFT Objectives:
MissionFest Toronto is an incorporated not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 1995 serving Ontario and the greater Toronto area, dedicated to Encouraging and Educating people of all ages in the Biblical basis of missions. It creates an awareness of resources and strategies that can be used to undertake local and cross-cultural missions, and provide practical options for people to become Engaged in mission Enterprise.
MissionFest Toronto is committed to:
- Celebrating the world-wide impact of Christian mission and God's love for all nations and all people.
- Challenging attendees and participants to learn about and pray for global, national and local mission concerns; to integrate into their everyday life awareness and passion for missions.
- Connecting and mobilizing human and financial resources for missions.
