Judi Vankevich (The Manners Lady) will be part of the Children's Program on Friday and Saturday for children 6 to 9 years old.
MissionFest is delighted to welcome Canada’s award-winning singer and author, Judi The Manners Lady to help inspire and equip both parents and our children to “love God and love others.” Judi’s passion is to see young people catch God’s vision for their lives—to see how by their attitudes, words and actions they can make a difference in their world. Through her exciting music and fun role-playing, Judi’s message is catching on fire in the hearts of kids and parents, as she travels across Canada doing “Ambassador Training” concerts both in the public schools and in churches for More Than Gold for the 2010 Olympics.
As Director of the nonprofit foundation, The Canadian Project for Manners & Civility, Judi’s passion is to provide fun resources for parents and teachers to train our children to love and serve God and to “love our neighbour as ourselves”—the two greatest commandments. Teaching manners—character, kindness, respect, putting others first, honouring our parents & elders—help children learn practical ways of showing God’s love to the world. Through exciting music and fun role-playing, Judi challenges children, teens and parents to live to God’s standards of living—not the world’s.
Judi’s “Manners Clubs” are spreading throughout Africa, Australia, Japan, India, Thailand, and more! It’s entertainment with a purpose! In addition to her concerts in public schools, Judi’s prayer is that churches and Christian schools will use her ministry to both strengthen the families of their church and as a creative outreach to the community.
